Fergal has been with ITG for over 4 years.

Fergal completed a Mathematics Degree from the University of Portsmouth, where he was awarded a 2:1, the second-highest
mark. He went on to complete his Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus in Secondary Mathematics at the University of Bath Spa. During this time he spent a year teaching Secondary Mathematics up to 6th form in two UK schools for a year.

When he moved to Vietnam he spent several months working first as an ESL teacher, before finding the opportunity to teach his passion in Mathematics again with ITG. He focuses on the IB and IGCSE and has made great progress with students studying the new IB  Mathematics Syllabus.

Outside of the classroom, Fergal enjoys searching the city to find the best ingredients to satisfy his love of cooking and passion for exploring. What’s more, he likes to make use of Saigon’s board game cafes and he would describe himself as a “keen board gamer”.
