David graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first class degree in Physics. His interest in Medical Physics lead to him completing an MSc in Medical Imaging at University College London. He then branched into COVID-19 immunology in response to the pandemic, working for 2 years as a Research Assistant. From these experiences, he discovered that he greatly enjoyed problem solving.
David’s passion for working with children began at Camp America, where he taught children of various ages. He enjoyed devising activities for the children and seeing their skills improve over time. In an academic setting, he has tutored students from Primary to Bachelor degree level. David is a patient listener when discussing students’ struggles; he relishes the challenge of explaining advanced theories in a manner that students can understand. David loves to motivate his students to enable them to discover their passion within their subjects.
Outside of work, David is a keen lover of sports and the outdoors. He plays football competitively and enjoys triathlons and water sports. .
