Debby received a BA in History (First Class Honours) from SOAS, University of London. She then moved to France to pursue a Master in Public Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from Sciences Po, Paris, and graduated as valedictorian.
Debby also received 6 Distinction grades in her A-Levels, including English Literature. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Debby tutored Economics, English, and History to students at high school and university level. Debby has a deep love of literature and, combined with her knowledge of History, she uses it to bring stories about the world and its people to life.
Given Debby’s interest in history, travel, and experiencing different cultures, she worked and interned in various countries, including Singapore, Russia, South Korea, and the USA. Prior to living in Vietnam, Debby also served a stint in the Singapore Foreign Ministry, specialising in political and economic relations with the Middle East.
When not tutoring, Debby is nurturing her passion for fashion and sustainability by partnering with artisans and makers across the Asia-Pacific.
